Time to Clear Your Head!

If you’re having one of those weeks or days when time is rushing past and your ‘things to do’ list is spiraling out of control, try the 6-minute write. It will only take 6 minutes!

Here’s what to do:

  1. Find your journal, log book or any piece of paper…….. use your computer if you must but it might side-track you with reminders
  2. Go to a place where you’ll be uninterrupted
  3. Set your phone timer to 6-minutes
  4. Start writing…. Anything…..whatever comes into your head
  5. Keep writing until the timer rings
  6. Notice what is emerging and rising to the top of your mind / activity
