There were a few sunny days in May – although if you blinked you might have missed them. Sunny days are great for renewing energy and inspiring us to do a bit de-cluttering. If you’re interested, I have a quick exercise that can help you focus on clearing your mind and focus on the next 90 days. Email me and I would be pleased to send it to you.
A big win for charity!
I’ve recently completed my first Half Marathon in Plymouth. I stuck to the plan, trusted the training and finished in 2 hours 16 minutes.
Thank you to all my associates and friends for helping raise over £1600 for CLIC Sargent, a children’s cancer charity and £1000 for Greenwich Youth for Christ!
Send in your big win!
The Big Win Contest is back. Send in a big win you’ve recently had and you’ll be entered in a draw to win a trip up the Shard with me. There will be 3 lucky winners. To enter, simply email your big win to Daphne by 31 May.
Tips to refresh
A change of pace can improve your productivity. Give yourself 10 minutes doing something different and you may find the task you have been struggling with that bit easier:
- organise your desk to give you space to think
- give your eyes a break from the monitor – make a call or file those papers
- review and update your contacts
- take a walk outside for 10 minutes
A coaching snapshot
The client:
A start up business owner who lacked confidence to attack the business.
Issue:
It is easy to get wrapped up in the day to day detail of running a business rather than focusing on your product and clients. Getting out there takes personal confidence and resilience.
Outcome:
After a short series of coaching sessions over 3 months, the client had the confidence to build her business by prioritising her time on the business, rather than in the business.
